    Reflection

My tenure at Best Buy offered invaluable insights into the inner workings of a large, established corporation, providing me with a crash course in their design processes and dynamics. Tasked with quickly grasping and efficiently adapting to their workflows, I found myself navigating complex projects and tight deadlines with ease, often completing assignments within a week’s timeframe.

Each project presented its own set of challenges, demanding a nuanced design approach tailored to specific flyer categories. Despite the constraints on creative freedom, I discovered a sense of satisfaction in pushing the boundaries within those parameters, finding innovative ways to capture attention and convey information effectively.

One of the most significant aspects of my experience at Best Buy was the opportunity to sharpen my skills in InDesign, a tool I hadn’t previously utilized extensively. Through hands-on experience and on-the-job training, I honed my proficiency in the software, mastering its features and functionalities to streamline my workflow and enhance my productivity.

Overall, my time at Best Buy was a testament to my ability to excel under pressure and innovate within limitations. It not only deepened my understanding of corporate design workflows but also reaffirmed my passion for challenging myself and pushing the boundaries of creativity in every project I undertake.
